Cloud Security Architect, Associate Director IQVIA Solutions to help life sciences organizations drive healthcare forward and get the right treatments to patients, faster.Come and help our internal clients transform their businesses by providing architecture, best practice guidance and access to cutting edge capabilities in their journey through the public cloud.You'll design and develop secure, resilient and cost-effective public cloud solutions and standards, to help our internal business units get their products to market more effectively. Another key focus will be to build strategies and develop frameworks ensuring best practices are deployed, allowing the business units to develop and deploy their products, while maintaining the centralized governance around architecture, operations, security and FinOps Program and project progress reporting.What you'll do in this role Creating best practice architecture for Azure and AWS IaaS/PaaS solutions based on requirementsDevelopment and implementation of cloud security architectures on the Azure cloud.Work closely with senior staff for developing new security strategies and designs.Collaborate with colleagues to support and improve security architecture, systems, processes, standards and tools.Lead technical discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability in the cloudDesign highly scalable and resilient cloud-based environments and work with operations to deployParticipate in Architectural Review Boards, Technical Design Authorities and virtual communities, working hand in hand with other Enterprise Architects and Operations teams.Develop the tools and techniques necessary to design automated deployments using a DevOps approachHelp to develop centralized tooling and infrastructure for monitoring availability, performance, security and costGuide and mentor operational teams, and provide them a technical escalation pointConduct regular reviews to ensure best practices are being followedBuild and maintain strong relationships with our internal clients and help them progress through their adoption of CloudSupport ongoing reviews with stakeholders for cloud optimization and best practices around use of cloud technologies (ex: auto-scaling, de-provisioning)Assisting clients in adhering to governance and controlsAssisting clients and management in creating trend and variance analysis of cloud spendParticipate and innovate in the ongoing development of Cloud offerings and proceduresEducate and elevate the capability of other engineers, analysts, and managementOperate in a highly cross-functional environment focused on a great customer experienceBring the initiative to break down silos and remove impedances to progressWhat we're ideally looking for Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Math or Engineering)Microsoft Azure Architect certifications (AZ-303 + AZ-304) + Azure security engineer certification exam, AZ-5005+ years of experience designing and supporting public cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, public/hybrid/private cloud solutions.Experience implementing AWS and Azure ‘Well-Architected Frameworks’ and the ability to apply / adjust the concepts to customer environmentsDeep experience of AWS and Azure services and platforms inclusive of DevOps, Automation and OrchestrationExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and influence decisions across to multiple levels of audience, both technical and executiveThe ability to lead and be a team player across dynamic environments and cross-functional groups of teammates and client stakeholders.Experience with cloud spend, financial reporting and cost optimization#J-18808-Ljbffr
