Industrious Data Engineer Wanted

About the Role:

We seek a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This professional will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that inform business decisions. The primary goal is to extract valuable information from complex data sets, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and identify relevant data sources.

- Cleanse and manipulate data to meet requirements, creating Tableau datasets, reports, and dashboards.

- Present finished products and gather feedback from stakeholders.

- Deploy data, reports, and dashboards to Tableau; develop reports according to analyst-defined specifications.

- Conduct technical training and maintain documentation of the operational environment.

- Maintain and process SQL Server SPs and queries.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer.

- In-depth understanding of Tableau administration, licensing, security, and deployment, with at least 1 year of previous work experience using Tableau.

- Strong knowledge of relational data modeling concepts.

- Excellent analytical skills, with hands-on ability to deliver commitments.

- Superior organizational skills, with a disciplined approach to implementation, support, and documentation.

- Experience with ETL of data from various sources using SSIS, Python, or similar technologies (desired).

- Knowledge of SQL Server database architecture and/or experience with creating tabular data models in SQL Server (desired).

- Advanced English language proficiency.
