Role Summary:

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our testing strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools.
  • Quality Assurance Strategy: Define and improve QA best practices, testing standards, and processes.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify test requirements, develop test plans, and execute automated test cases.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs, and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
  • Performance & Load Testing: Develop and execute performance and scalability tests to ensure the system meets non-functional requirements.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on software testing.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, or similar.
  • Expertise in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
