You will be able to contribute to various initiatives as well as provide feedback through code reviews and pairing. We are especially excited about you if you are enthusiastic about working in the luxury retail/e-commerce space or if you are passionate about our mission of sustainability in creating a circular economy for high-end goods.- Develop using interesting technologies --Elixir, Ruby, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB- Have input into design and architectural decisions that will shape the future of our software systems - Mentor, actively participate in code reviews, and pair up with a team member to work together on features - Act as a strong partner to product and engineering management✅ Skills/Experience - Minimum Requirements: - 7+ years of web application development experience with a track record of successfully shipping consumer or business facing products - Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code, reusable components and component libraries that may be used by many other engineers - Experience with any ofElixir, Erlang, Ruby, Javascript, NextJs, or another programming language - Passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement - Familiarity with common programming tools such asIDEs, RESTful APIs, Gitrepositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools - Familiarity with event based architectures, database fundamentals and GraphQL - Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills - Curiosity about retail/e-commerce, the high-end consignment market, and/or how to create a sustainable, circular economy for luxury goodsPreferred Requirements: - Experience withJavascript, HTML, CSS, and React- Experience with GraphQL - Experience building microservices - Experience building eCommerce platforms - Experience working with a CMS, especially Prismic - Any experience with mobile development for iOS and/or AndroidAvenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA.
