QA Automation Tester

The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of automation testing practices and has solid experience with manual and cross-browser testing.

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute manual and automated test strategies for web, mobile, and desktop applications in an Agile environment.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Perform exploratory, sanity, smoke, regression, and integration testing; log and track defects in the defect management system.
  • Conduct backend database testing in Microsoft SQL, validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers.
  • Map requirements to test cases to ensure full coverage and report test results (pass/fail).
  • Create clear, reproducible bug reports and assist the Support team in reproducing client-reported issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet functional and design specifications throughout the SDLC.

What You Have

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing using Playwright and TypeScript
  • Strong skills in executing manual test cases
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and desktop applications, including cross-browser compatibility testing and related tools
  • Experience working with SQL databases
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices
  • Broad understanding of quality control and testing within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High English proficiency (B2–C2)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
