About the Client:We are a leading company in the solar energy sector, dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable energy solutions. Our team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a Project Manager Engineer who specializes in solar energy projects, specifically in managing projects from inception to completion. Position Overview: The Project Manager Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the execution of solar energy projects, from concept through design, implementation, and successful completion. This includes managing a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all aspects of the project run smoothly, and that the solar energy systems are designed and installed according to high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have proven project management experience, deep technical knowledge of solar panels and solar energy systems, and a strong ability to manage projects in multicultural and multilingual environments. Candidates who speak Turkish and Portuguese, as well as English, will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Lead and oversee solar energy projects from the initial planning stage through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.Develop detailed project plans that include scope, schedule, resources, cost estimates, and risk management strategies.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Solar Energy Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of solar panels, photovoltaic systems, and solar energy technologies to ensure high-quality project design and implementation.Oversee technical assessments and audits of solar systems to ensure proper design and compliance with industry standards.Team Leadership: Manage and supervise multidisciplinary project teams (engineers, contractors, vendors, etc.) to ensure project milestones are met.Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior engineers and project team members.Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or challenges.Prepare and present reports, technical documents, and status updates to stakeholders and management.Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify potential project risks and take proactive steps to mitigate them.Quickly address technical, logistical, and personnel issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements for solar energy projects.Conduct quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field).Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in the solar energy field.Strong technical expertise in solar panels, photovoltaic systems, and renewable energy technologies.Experience in managing projects from zero to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements for solar energy projects.Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle complex projects and teams.Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in fast-paced environments.Ability to lead and motivate teams.High proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management software.Ability to communicate effectively in Turkish, Portuguese, and English.Additional Requirements: Valid USA visa or the ability to obtain one.Willingness to travel as needed for project site visits and team coordination. Desirable Skills: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications.Experience with Solar PV design software (e.g., Helioscope, PVSyst, etc.).Knowledge of solar energy market trends and innovations.
