Mathematics Education Position The Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our team. Job Description: As a Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of students. You will participate in collaborative planning, preparation, and organisation of teaching and learning based on the IB MYP and DP Programmes. You will also plan and deliver IB-aligned lessons in the MYP section and possibly also in the DP, as well as supporting the IB DP Core components. Key Responsibilities: To apply the best pedagogical practice, based on a detailed knowledge of a range of appropriate teaching and learning strategies curated for the MYP/DP classroom; To be enthusiastic about professional development and show a commitment to developing your practice and that of your colleagues; To actively support all learners based on their individual needs and liaise with relevant professionals where necessary; To be part of the Pastoral team in Secondary School and engage with the holistic nature of learning in the school; To liaise with Heads of Faculty, the MYP Coordinator, the DP Coordinator, the Head of Secondary, and the Personalised Learning team. Required Skills and Qualifications: Fluency in English (verbal and written) (Essential); A relevant degree in the subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification (Essential); Experience teaching the MYP and/or DP in an international school context (Essential); Excellent interpersonal, collaborative skills (Essential); A commitment to inquiry-based learning and alignment with the school's vision and mission (Essential).
