Junior Bookkeeper

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial reporting, maintaining fixed asset registers, the accounting function, implementing SOP’s and analysis of financial reportsBookkeeping functions all the way to Trial Balance, Financial Accounting & ReportingFinancial reporting: Collate, prepare and interpret reportsReview the accounts payable, and accounts receivable recordsMust understand the Debtor & Creditors function well, in terms of invoicing, statements run, payment requisitions and reconsEnsuring tax compliance and compliance with statutory regulationsAudit process and ensuring financial statements are completedManaging budgets and variance analysisImplement internal controls and SOP’sLiaising with Head Office DepartmentsREQUIREMENTS:3 Years’ experience in a similar roleSound understanding of accounting concepts and a hands-on approachMinimum of 3 years’ experience on Sage 50/ Sage 200 or similar systemPrevious experience in the FMCG, Fast Food or Retail sectorsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, including franchise partnersMust have strong attention to detail and a proven track recordHave effective time management, problem solving and decision-making abilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
