This role will be critical in ensuring full compliance with Brazilian tax regulations, managing tax audits, and acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external tax authorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation, excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Job description The Tax Senior/Manager will be responsible for the management of indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning, ensuring compliance with current legislation and the optimization of the tax burden; Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, etc. Monitor tax compliance processes and work closely with internal accounting and finance teams to ensure tax obligations are met. Manage and respond to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities. Analyze changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.Desired profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law. Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred. Solid experience in indirect taxes, tax compliance and tax planning; Knowledge in Tax reform; Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders;Language: Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).
