Sales Vision Solutions Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Vision Solutions Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales performance in the automation industry and experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization. Key Responsibilities: Forecast and close vision solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs. Utilize the Cognex sales process to effectively demonstrate products to customers and win large strategic opportunities. Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking out large opportunities. Conduct customer visits in a solution sales environment. Collaborate with counterparts from other territories on opportunities that are integrated or installed in a different territory or where the decision makers do not reside in the Account Manager's territory. Assist at trade shows and other marketing events. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Requirements: Proven track record of operating in a solutions sales environment. Uses defined sales process to deliver desired results on a consistent basis. PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Windows applications. Ability to travel 40% of the time. Ability to work independently. Education and Experience: Technical Degree or equivalent work experience. Proven sales experience and a good track record for exceeding sales targets. Experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization. Experience in selling vision products is preferred.
