Senior Software Engineer – Low-Latency Trading Systems

We are seeking highly skilled engineers to join a global financial technology team supporting a major banking client. This role focuses on building and optimizing low-latency trading systems and related infrastructure. You will work on mission-critical applications in a high-performance environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain low-latency applications primarily in Java and C++ for trading and market connectivity.Contribute to automation, containerization, and DevOps initiatives to streamline deployment and operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frameworks and tools for performance optimization.Ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices for reliability and scalability.Work closely with stakeholders in NYC, London, LATAM and broader global regions to support strategic technology initiatives.Required Skills & Experience:Strong proficiency in Java and C++ with a focus on low-latency systems.Experience with Python for scripting and automation.Solid understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with automation frameworks and performance tuning.Ability to work in a non-cloud environment (on-prem infrastructure).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
