NGS Scientific Operations Manager Role We are seeking an experienced NGS Scientific & Technical Operations Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team across Latin America. This leadership role requires a solid scientific foundation in molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or related life sciences combined with strong operational and people management skills. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree (or higher) in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field, along with strong academic background or work experience in NGS (Next Generation Sequencing). Lead and mentor a team including Field Application Scientists, Field Service Engineers, Field Bioinformaticians, and Customer Support professionals. Oversee customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, ensuring service requests, installations, and technical issues are managed effectively within expected timelines. Define individual training and development needs across the technical team and recommend staffing plans and hiring strategies. Required Skills and Qualifications Master's degree (or higher) in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field. Strong academic background or work experience in NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support, field service, or applications management, ideally within the genomics or life sciences industry.
