What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Market Risk Specialist (Energy). Will support the implementation and daily execution of the Market and Credit Risk framework in Brazil, ensuring alignment with Atlas' global risk governance. This role combines technical expertise and hands-on analysis to assess market exposures, credit risk, and the risk profile of structured energy transactions within the evolving commercialization structure. What specific knowledge do you need?

  • In-depth experience with the Brazilian power market, including system and price simulation, energy commercialization, trading, and market risk modeling
  • Proven experience in manage credit risk, including credit risk assessment and definitions of credit limits and minimal guarantees requirement
  • Experience in simulate and control risks related to trading operations, including MtM calculation and simulation of daily risk limits
  • Technical proficiency in risk management tools and methodologies, with a focus on practical application in the Brazilian market
