Senior / Tech Lead.NET Core Developer (C#)

(for a U.S.-based eCommerce technology company modernizing its fulfillment and logistics platforms)About the RoleWe’re seeking a Staff .NET Core Developer (C#) to design, build, and scale the internal systems that power one of the nation’s fastest-growing eCommerce logistics operations. You’ll work on complex, high-impact applications that connect digital tools with real-world fulfillment center technology — optimizing how inventory, orders, and operations flow across the network.This is a hands-on technical leadership role — ideal for an engineer who combines strong architectural instincts with a builder’s mindset. You’ll shape foundational systems, mentor other developers, and collaborate across product, UX, and data teams to deliver stable, scalable, and future-ready software.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop backend systems and APIs using .NET Core (C#).Lead architectural discussions around scalability, performance, and maintainability.Partner with product managers, UX, and data engineers to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.Contribute to system modernization and codebase evolution, introducing best practices and automation.Support AI-assisted development initiatives to accelerate delivery and quality.Mentor mid-level developers and help elevate engineering standards across the team.Ensure reliability and observability through thoughtful design, testing, and monitoring.Requirements8+ years of professional experience developing enterprise applications in C# / .NET Core.Proven experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.Strong understanding of Azure or other cloud environments.Solid grasp of data modeling, performance optimization, and system integration.Comfortable navigating complex codebases and improving existing architecture.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Self-starter mindset — curious, proactive, and driven to improve systems and team velocity.Preferred QualificationsExperience in logistics, fulfillment, or eCommerce platforms.Experience designing distributed or asynchronous backend systems.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure.What You’ll LoveWorking on mission-critical systems that power real-world logistics at scale.A culture that values craftsmanship, ownership, and initiative.Collaborating with time-zone-aligned teams in a highly technical, fast-moving environment.The chance to make architectural decisions that impact thousands of daily operations.
