Position Overview: This role requires working onsite in Contagem, Minas Gerais. You will be part of the MCA (Modular Control Architecture) software team, focusing on delivering and maintaining core software components such as board support packages, platform services, and middleware applications. The role involves defining technology strategies, ensuring security, and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and maintain high software quality standards.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain MCA Platform Software including BSP, platform services, and middleware.
- Review and refine system requirements and derive software requirements from system specifications.
- Develop and execute hardware/software and integration test plans.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure proper documentation.
- Support validation and verification activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and disclosures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in software engineering, especially in device drivers, bootloaders, or BSP development.
- Experience with Linux OS on embedded systems and knowledge of Linux kernel internals.
- Proficiency in hardware/software integration, Docker, C/C++, Bash, Python.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
