We are currently searching for a Data Engineer to join our fast-growing team. This position is for someone located in São Paulo, Brazil who is able to come into the office in-person at least three days a week. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of our biggest projects within the retail industry.

About You:

You are a humble, passionate, and experienced engineer that is excited to write code but is also comfortable working with sales, accounts, and other engineers. You have a positive outlook and are interested in working in a highly collaborative work environment.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Develop and maintain Transformation pipelines in SQL Server Stored Procedures and dbt.
  • Build and enhance Data Models and OLAP Cubes.
  • Develop ETL and maintain pipelines and enhance current pipelines using Python and Airflow.
  • Over time become responsible for Data Quality and Data monitoring of data pipelines, building new tools and frameworks to support scalability.
  • Work together with the team to improve and adjust the database to ensure it continues to perform as the business scales.
  • Work closely with the business team to onboard new clients into the data platform.

Skills and Qualifications: (even if you do not meet these skills 100%, we still welcome you to apply)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Demonstrated ability to code in Python and SQL.
  • Willingness to learn and deep dive into new technologies.
  • Good communication skills to be able to communicate with business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement viable solutions in a timely manner.
