This position involves building backend services, designing event-driven pipelines, writing clean code in Go and SQL, ensuring quality and reliability, and collaborating with teams to deliver features efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining core backend services for data processing and business logic.
  • Designing idempotent, queue-based workflows using Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
  • Writing maintainable code following coding standards.
  • Implementing tests, monitoring metrics, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Partnering with product and operations teams for feature delivery and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Go (or similar) and SQL (Postgres or equivalent).
  • Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Strong testing discipline and familiarity with Git, CI/CD.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with payment platforms or financial reconciliation.
  • API integration with QuickBooks, Xero, Netsuite.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, observability tools, and security practices.
