World Business Lenders (WBL) provides short-term, real estate collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States that lack access to traditional funding.

Remote Work Details: WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a contract/consultant position, typically working hours are 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, with potential for additional hours based on operational needs. Excellent command of English (oral and written) is required. Resumes must be submitted in English.

Position Overview: We seek a detail-oriented, proactive Investor Relations/Communications Manager to support internal and external business operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Administration Officer (CAO), this role will act as their deputy, managing administrative functions across departments, ensuring smooth communication, workflow, and policy implementation.

In addition, this role will support the CEO in Investor Relations (IR) activities. The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, organizational skills, and communication abilities, especially in investor communications, due diligence coordination, and producing presentations and materials.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight
  • Supervise and support a team of administrative staff, ensuring timely delivery of operational and project tasks.
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal departments and external partners on administrative matters.
  • Develop, draft, and maintain policies, procedures, forms, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with various business units to streamline communication and improve workflows.
  • Assist in drafting SOPs and monitor SLAs across departments.
  • Work with HR to recommend optimal team structures and reporting lines.
  • Support planning and rollout of initiatives, tracking progress and KPIs.
  • Create and maintain reports, presentations, and correspondence with high professionalism.
  • Support financial tasks such as invoice submission and administrative reporting.
  • Monitor project timelines, flag risks early, and support resolution processes.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and tasks to support business continuity and growth.
Investor Relations & Communications
  • Support the CAO in all investor relations functions.
  • Act as liaison with external stakeholders, including investors and banks.
  • Manage investor due diligence processes professionally and promptly.
  • Create and refine investor-facing materials like pitch decks and reports.
  • Ensure messaging aligns with company vision and strategic goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and precision in all communications.
  • Track IR project timelines, meetings, and follow-ups.
