Ocean Export Operations

The role is extremely important where you will become a key member of the operations team, actively involved in managing export shipments from USA to worldwide. You will be hands on with every aspect of the forwarding process, ensuring the customer receives the highest level of service, and that they receive their goods safely and on-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate Worldwide export from USA with end-to-end responsibility.

· Handling all daily ocean export shipments from documentation, pre-alert until invoicing.

· Managing commercial terms of freight, arrival confirmation and pre-alert details

· Responsible for customer service internally, bookings, documentation, and execution of routing for assigned shipments..

· Assists with the day-to-day operations of the export departments.

· Trace shipments through transit points up to final destination and advise customer/agents.

· Responsible for co-ordination and communication with various parties (including customers, overseas agents, customs broker, etc.).

· Strong customer relationships to understand requirements and always deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 Years' Experience within Freight Forwarding co

Advanced English (reading, writing and conversation)

Experience with both import and export freight forwarding

Must be Enthusiastic, Ambitious, Self-Motivated & Looking To Develop & Progress

Must Have Experience Handling All Aspects Of Ocean Export

Experience in a customer service environment

High School education required

Working knowledge of Transportation Management Software (Magaya) is an asset.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
