Overview of the role:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This professional will be responsible for taking raw information – numbers or qualitative data sets – and constructing narratives that help our business colleagues to make better decisions. The primary goal of this position is to take large volumes of complex data, extract insights, and help solve problems.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, identifying and querying data sources to get the required data.
• Cleanse and massage data into the shape required, creating Tableau datasets, reports, and dashboards to meet requirements.
• Present and gather feedback from stakeholders on the finished product.
• Deploy data, reports, and dashboards to Tableau; develop reports according to analyst-defined specifications
• Conduct technical training.
• Maintain and document the operational environment.
• Maintain and process SQL Server SPs and queries.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience developing Business Intelligence dashboards and reports, analyzing, and visualizing data.
• An understanding of Tableau administration, licensing, security, and deployment, and at least 1 year of previous work experience using Tableau.
• A solid understanding of the concepts involved in modeling relational data.
• Strong analytic skills, with a hands-on approach with the ability to deliver commitments.
• Superior organizational skills, with a disciplined approach to implementation, support, and documentation.
• Experience with ETL of data from a variety of sources using SSIS, Python, or similar technologies (is a plus).
• Knowledge of SQL Server database architecture (components and processes of the database) and/or experience with creating tabular data models in SQL Server (is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

• Comfortable working with large datasets and various data sources (e.g., cloud data warehouses, APIs).
• Experience with Excel , and at least one programming language such as Python or R is a plus.
• English level: B2 or higher – able to work in an international team environment.
• Must be currently residing in Brazil or Portugal.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data storytelling and presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ETL processes or working alongside data engineering teams.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Modeler to join our team in Brazil. This is a senior, customer-facing position where you will lead data initiatives across countries, working directly with international clients and internal engineering teams.

You\'ll be responsible for designing and implementing semantic and dimensional data models in Snowflake, enabling powerful insights in Power BI, and guiding customers on best practices. Beyond modeling and analytics, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring that data solutions align with business needs and drive measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing data initiatives (in English) , serving as the main point of contact for analytics and modeling discussions.
• Design and implement semantic, dimensional, and aggregated data models in Snowflake.
• Build and optimize Power BI datasets , including aggregations and performance tuning.
• Write and review complex SQL queries for analysis and validation.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and clear insights.
• Guide customers on best practices in data modeling, analytics, and BI strategy .
• Collaborate with international teams (Australia, Thailand, Brazil and Europe) to deliver end-to-end data projects.
• Mentor and support other analysts and engineers on modeling and BI practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst / Data Modeler .
• Strong expertise in Snowflake , dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon) , and semantic layer design.
• Advanced SQL skills for data transformation, analysis, and optimization.
• Deep knowledge of Power BI , particularly aggregations, large models, and performance tuning .
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong business acumen — able to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Experience leading client-facing projects across countries.
• Bonus: knowledge of retail, e-commerce, or hospitality data.
