Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant - Journey Traveler must be able to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, providing physical therapy treatments to facilitate patient independence under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include:

  • Attending and contributing to patient care and staff meetings.
  • Delivering rehab services per established care plans and documenting services timely.
  • Collaborating with the rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
  • Assisting Physical Therapists with tests, evaluations, and procedures.
  • Instructing patients and caregivers in therapy techniques.
  • Maintaining and reporting on equipment needs.
  • Providing personalized treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, airway techniques, and use of modalities.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as required by the state.
  • Available to travel and reside temporarily outside the primary residence.
Salary Range

USD $45.00 - USD $50.00 per hour.
