Performs a wide range of duties related to accounting and monitoring of the company's performance. Participates to decision making in a fast-paced business environment. These job functions require accuracy, a sense of urgency, concise and timely communication, independent judgment, strong organizational skills and analytic skills. This person will understand, consolidate and analyse multiple components in order to produce accurate monthly reporting and budgeting for the business.

Responsabilidades laborales

• Assist in the development and implementation of systems, procedures and goals relating to accounting functions for Christian Dior Couture
• Lead internal control and compliance campaigns in cooperation with the regional Internal Control Manager
• Review accounts, accurately and efficiently for Brazil
• Maintain the accuracy of the fixed assets (value, booking, flows, reconciliation) and their depreciation
• Manage all tax topics including tax return, sales & other taxes, state and federal audits
• Work with the external advisor on transfer price reporting
• Prepare the reporting package (P&L) during each month and quarter-end close (balance sheet, P&L)
• Supervise accounting and fiscal duties with the accounting service provider
• Responsible for the monthly review of the P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Supervise the bank activity including payments, monthly bank reconciliations, annual renewal of intercompany loan and cash forecast
• Challenge costs and allocations of costs with all other company's departments
• Analyse current trend in key performance indicators and causes of unexpected variance for all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
• Proactive monitoring of yearly and monthly targets in collaboration with Brand Executives
• Construction and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
• Participate in monthly closing and analysis for the company
• Reporting monthly on financial information to HQ and management in a timely manner
• Validation of the local income statement and balance sheet
• Identification and analysis of financial risks
• Provide management with a regular input on key local topics
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis related to the current business or new projects
• Work cross-functionally with the finance teams in Mexico and US and other departments
  
  

Perfil

• 7+ years of experience of accounting /FP&A experience
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex and moving work environment
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
• A consistent track record for high accuracy with detail orientation & data reporting precision
• A comprehensive understanding of the retail industry and its product life cycles is a plus
• Ability to work in a time sensitive, accurate environment
• Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise manner
• Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person
• Time sensitive, accurate and highly dependable
• Ability to manage others and a local Finance team of two
• Proficient in Excel, good command of English
• Entrepreneurial drive & team oriented
