Job Purpose

Develop and implement automated solutions and new projects on equipment with automatic production processes to enhance operational performance and minimize rejection rates, while adhering to Quality, Safety, and Client standards.

Job Description
  • Lead Control and Automation Engineering in projects, serving as the main point of contact internally and with clients.
  • Ensure functional requirements, quality standards, safety design principles, and timely delivery are met.
  • Review and approve electrical, optical, hydraulic schematics, and subsea distribution systems.
  • Create, review, or approve control system documentation, including specifications, schematics, and testing procedures.
  • Define project architecture to meet customer requirements effectively.
  • Participate in Design Review meetings to ensure client requirements, quality, and best practices are followed.
  • Manage project activities, ensuring adherence to man-hours and technical budgets.
  • Ensure proper interfaces of control system equipment within projects.
  • Coordinate among engineering, planning, procurement, project management, industrial engineering, and quality teams.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, or related fields
  • CREA registration
  • Experience with subsea control system engineering
  • Knowledge of subsea production and control systems
  • Familiarity with international standards like API7F, API6A
  • Risk assessment skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Intermediate skills in Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Oil and Gas Engineering, Subsea Production Systems, or Control and Automation
  • Experience in the oil and gas sector with control systems in subsea projects (e.g., control cabins, HPUs, distribution systems, subsea controllers)
