Join our remote team as a Senior Data Software Engineer within a global leader at the forefront of data analytics and insights. We are seeking a hands-on, deeply technical developer to collaborate with development peers, product leadership, and other technical staff to create innovative data-driven solutions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop new features using Agile (Scrum)
  2. Ensure high-quality standards at every development stage
  3. Guarantee system reliability, availability, performance, and scalability
  4. Maintain and troubleshoot code in large-scale environments
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
  6. Provide technical input for new features, partnering with business owners and architects
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous improvement
  8. Drive solutions aligned with business objectives
  9. Mentor less experienced team members
  10. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standards adherence
  11. Contribute to architectural and technical discussions
Requirements
  1. At least 3+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
  2. Hands-on expertise in server development with Python and PySpark
  3. Experience with Azure Data Factory for scalable applications
  4. Proficiency in Advanced SQL for database schema design and management
  5. Experience in data analysis and troubleshooting
  6. Knowledge of testing, version control, and deployment support
  7. Ability to support applications in production environments
  8. Ability to translate requirements into technical design
  9. Exposure to Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Spark, Scala, Kafka
  10. Strong background in Big Data and scalable application design
  11. Excellent communication skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher)
