Job OverviewThis role is part of the Index Technology team, where you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across various technical areas to support the firm's business objectives.
Responsibilities- Execute software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues, thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or resolve problems.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize data to improve software applications and systems continually.
- Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
- 5-10 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Experience with database querying languages such as Sybase and Postgres in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- English proficiency: B2+; C1+ recommended.
- Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
- Knowledge of PySpark and FastAPI.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
Hours: 9AM to 6PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week).
Location: Hybrid at Belgrano 955, CABA, Argentina.
