Required:

  • FPSO Experience
  • Seaman's Book and certificates

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee activities such as:
  • Welding and fitting
  • Structural modifications and reinforcements
  • Ensure all work follows design drawings, codes, and standards.
  • Manage teams of welders, fitters, riggers, and other structural personnel.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve issues on-site.
  • Enforce safety procedures (HSE standards) to prevent accidents.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Inspect structural work for accuracy and quality.
  • Work closely with quality inspectors and engineers to address defects or deviations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and other foremen (e.g., piping, mechanical) to ensure smooth workflow and avoid clashes.
  • Provide daily progress reports to supervisors or construction managers.
  • Track materials, manpower, and equipment usage.
