Role Overview

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer I at Eqvista, Inc., you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that drive our equity management solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement algorithms, optimize performance, and translate complex data into actionable insights. Your expertise in machine learning and data science will be critical in advancing our technological offerings and supporting our mission to deliver top-tier services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems related to equity management, data analysis, and predictive analytics.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights, using these findings to inform model development and improve decision-making processes.
• Algorithm Optimization: Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance and scalability, ensuring that models are efficient, accurate, and suitable for production environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate machine learning models into our equity management platform and support the development of new features.
• Experimentation: Conduct experiments and A/B testing to evaluate model performance and effectiveness, iterating on models based on results and feedback.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for machine learning models, processes, and methodologies to support knowledge sharing and project continuity.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, applying new techniques and technologies to enhance our platform and services.
• Compliance: Ensure that all machine learning solutions adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards, including data privacy and security requirements.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or a related field, with a strong track record of developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Data Handling: Experience with data processing, feature engineering, and working with large-scale datasets and databases.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver effective machine learning solutions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with equity management, financial services, or related industries.
• Knowledge of cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML).
• Familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, or natural language processing.
