About The Role

Our client is a dynamic and innovative digital marketing agency specializing in SEO and PPC advertising. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Billing Analyst to join the remote team. In this role, you will manage complex billing processes, ensure accurate revenue recognition, lead financial reporting, and drive process improvements to optimize billing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee advanced billing processes, contract billing, and subscription management.
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and guide junior staff.
• Manage and optimize billing systems, collaborating with IT on upgrades.
• Analyze customer contracts to ensure correct billing and revenue treatment.
• Prepare billing and revenue reports and develop key performance indicators.
• Lead variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
• Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate billing audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support strategic initiatives including pricing, M&A due diligence, and system integrations.
• Develop collections strategies and manage complex billing disputes.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding for the billing team.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in billing management or similar finance roles.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, especially accounts receivable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with home improvement marketing challenges.
• Familiarity with SEO, PPC, social media, and lead generation channels.
• Experience with Zoho Books and Zoho One.
  
  

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM GMT (some flexibility for CST overlap)

Work Location: Remote

Salary: $1300/month
