Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement software solutions based on requirements, as an individual contributor or technical lead.
  • Create and execute technical work plans to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain existing backend services.
Must Haves
  • 6+ years of experience in software architecture, implementation, and delivery from product requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience leading software development efforts.
  • Deep expertise in Java 21 or higher.
  • Experience with Kotlin, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka, and real-time messaging.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Comfort working remotely, self-motivated, and independent work skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Micronaut or Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, WebSocket, microservice architectures, NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra), distributed caches (Redis, Valkey), CI/CD pipelines, real-time audio streams, Node.js, and a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
