Job OverviewAmazon's Financial Technology Team is seeking a results-oriented, driven Software Development Engineer to work in our Software Development Center in Sao Paulo. The role involves creating next-generation distributed, scalable financial systems that support Amazon's growth and handling global financial transactions worth billions annually.
Responsibilities- Develop projects through the entire software lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
- Leverage AWS technologies like Lambda, Fargate, EMR, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RedShift, S3 to build scalable solutions.
- Design and code using Java, Spark, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, among others.
- Work iteratively using agile methodologies.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years in system design or architecture.
- Experience programming in Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design.
- Full software development lifecycle experience.
- Experience in system architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
