PICU RN Job Details

• Location: Bethlehem, PA Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2130-$2250
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract, with potential to extend
• Start Date: 9/8/2025 or 9/15/2025
• Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
  
  

PICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification preferred
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
  
  

PICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the intensive care unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed
• Educate and support pediatric patients and their families throughout the care process
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and healing environment for all patients
