• Act as the single point of contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL)
• Configure SPEL in accordance with client and project standards, managing user groups and access permissions
• Provide desk-side and remote support to end users, including developing and delivering training materials
• Collaborate with system integration experts to develop interfaces with other business systems
• Lead assigned scopes of work, ensuring delivery aligns with client standards and schedules

• Proven hands-on experience administering and supporting SPEL within Owner/Operator and/or EPC environments
• Strong understanding of engineering business processes and how SPEL supports capital projects
• Demonstrated experience developing documentation, work instructions, and training materials
• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and understanding of database integrity management
• Must reside in Calgary, AB area or Houston, TX area and be legally authorized to work in Canada or the U.S.

• Working knowledge of programming or scripting (e.g., Visual Basic, C#)
• Experience performing data quality audits and ensuring compliance with project standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities
• Background in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining, or related industries, with exposure to large projects
