Overview

We are looking for a junior accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. The Junior Accountant will be an integral member of the team who will be responsible for several key areas of the month-end close process and will lead the preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts, ensuring proper supporting documentation.
  • Perform and document month-end close procedures in accordance with internal control requirements.
  • Analyze and document Income Statement and Balance Sheet fluctuations.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and summaries as required.
  • Bookkeeping of different entities around the world (local/statutory and US GAAP books).
  • Support more experienced members of the team.
  • Coordinate with teams across multiple departments and locations to obtain and distribute financial information.
  • Support the completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits. Prepare audit documentation and key footnote disclosures as requested.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
  • Perform special projects and any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
What Were We Looking For
  • Graduated Public Accountant or about to finish the career (last year).
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (Oracle/HFM/SAP) is a plus.
  • Experience working at a shared services center is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish).
  • Ability to adhere to and meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Capability to prioritize workload and perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
