Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage priority projects for the Division and Agency, including audits and regulatory changes
  • Assess project feasibility and develop implementation tools to achieve program goals
  • Obtain necessary resources and ensure effective use of government resources
  • Monitor project progress and evaluate overall effectiveness and productivity
  • Review staff recommendations on policies and programmatic implications related to project work
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus five or more years of experience in project coordination or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle and development of project management documents
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry and managed care concepts and practices
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills for delivering information to various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Project Manager
  • Experience in managed care/health care, policy/report writing, and compliance audits
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to different situations
