About The Opportunity

As a Pre-Sales Platform Architect (DevOps) at Avenue Code, you'll design and present innovative solutions that enhance IT operations and software delivery. Partnering with sales teams and clients, you'll translate challenges into modern DevOps architectures using cloud, IaC, CI/CD, and containerization. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine technological accelerators that enhance clients' IT operations and software development processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical leaders, product owners, and clients, to understand requirements and design robust, scalable platform solutions.
• Lead and mentor development teams, providing guidance on best practices, architectural standards, and innovative solutions.
• Ensure platform solutions align with industry standards, organizational goals, and client needs.
• Develop and present technical proposals, showcasing the value proposition and advantages of the designed solutions.
• Continuously evolve the platform offerings by integrating the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss technical and business requirements, trade-offs, and solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices to maintain the Avenue's position as a leader in technological innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Platform Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role in a customer-facing capacity.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Experience with DevOps and SRE tooling such as CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and configuration management (Chef, Ansible).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#).
• Advanced understanding of application development, lifecycle management, and observability tools (Prometheus, New Relic).
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel for short-term client visits as required.
• Advanced english

Nice To Have Skills

• Google Cloud certifications or extensive knowledge of Google Cloud products and services.
• Background in software development or past development experience.
• Experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects.
• Expertise in areas such as API Management, Service Mesh, Multi-Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, or Data Technologies.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
