Python Engineer - Latin America - Remote

Azumo is seeking a highly motivated Python Fullstack Engineer to develop and enhance scalable software infrastructures in AI, NLP, and data-intensive environments.

This role is open to candidates based in Latin America, as most of our engineers are located there.

You will collaborate with a growing team of talented engineers, designing and developing high-performance backend infrastructure using Python, React, and open-source frameworks like Django, Flask, Eve, or FastAPI. Connecting applications to modern cloud technologies will also be part of your responsibilities.

Based in San Francisco, California, Azumo is an innovative software development firm specializing in building intelligent apps with the latest AI, data, and cloud technologies. Our passion is solving key problems for clients worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test server features and APIs
  • Integrate applications with third-party systems
  • Evaluate multiple approaches and technologies to solve problems
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of backend development experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask, Eve, FastAPI)
  • Deep expertise with Linux and cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs (REST, OAuth, JSON)
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and problem-solving passion
