• Design, develop, and manage end-to-end data architecture: data models, storage solutions, data flows, and processing pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize for scalability, performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Evaluate and select tools and technologies to meet evolving business needs.
• Standardize and maintain thorough documentation of architectural patterns and processes.
• Architect solutions using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Integrate AWS data sources (e.g., Redshift) and lead the deprecation of legacy systems (e.g., MuleSoft).
• Drive API-led connectivity rollout using Apigee.
• Guide infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform; enforce architectural standards across deployments.
• Define and implement data management and governance best practices, including metadata cataloging and data lineage (e.g., via Dataplex).
• Design and enforce security and compliance policies including encryption and access controls.
• Partner with Data Steward to automate metadata ingestion and embed quality checks in CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to transform business requirements into robust data models, schemas, pipelines, and tools.
• Lead architecture discussions and internal best-practice sessions to align the team and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Document architecture standards, runbooks, and integration patterns.
• Mentor peers and contribute to scaling the teams data capabilities.

• Advanced/Fluent English for conversation
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Great experience in data architecture or related roles, with a strong cloud-native focus.
• Deep expertise in GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Hands-on experience integrating AWS sources (e.g., Redshift).
• Experience with data platforms and tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Apigee, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, governance, lineage, and data quality practices.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Cross-cloud experience (GCP and AWS).
• Proven track record designing scalable, high-performance architectures.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Security-focused mindset and experience with regulated data environments.
• Experience migrating from legacy platforms like MuleSoft to API-led or cloud-native solutions
