We're seeking a motivated Middle Java Developer to join our professional team. Currently, we're enhancing a customer's app, and you will have the opportunity to learn and demonstrate your proficiency during challenging project engagements.

Our customer is the largest investment bank in Latin America, operating across various financial sectors. Established in 1983, the bank values a meritocratic partnership culture, focusing on clients, excellence, and long-term growth. With nearly 6,000 employees, it has offices across Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, the US, Portugal, and England.

Requirements
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in backend development with Java
  • At least 2 years of experience with Spring Boot and hands-on experience with Quarkus
  • Experience deploying microservices in public cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
  • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS)
  • Proficiency with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with observability tools like DataDog
  • Strong testing practices: JUnit, Postman/Newman
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)
  • Fluent English
  • Hybrid work model – 3 times weekly on-site at Faria Lima (SP)
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend features following best practices and validations
  • Deliver scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions aligned with modern architecture
  • Apply and promote event-driven microservices architecture
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural evolution
