We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with Strong English Skills (level B2-C1).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend applications using Java and related frameworks.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend.
  • Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
  • Work with development teams, designers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications, troubleshooting issues and performing updates.
  • Document code and development processes for clarity and future maintenance.
  • Ensure development adheres to security standards and best programming practices.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing code and architecture.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss project progress, share ideas, and receive feedback.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Java proficiency: solid knowledge of Java (Core, Collections, Concurrency), plus build tools (Maven/Gradle)
  • Apache Beam & Dataflow: practical experience implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and deploying/monitoring Dataflow jobs
  • GCP Fundamentals: familiarity with Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and overall security practices
  • Testing & Quality: comfortable with unit (JUnit) tests writing and code reviews
  • SQL/NoSQL: Experience with BigQuery, relational DBs, or NoSQL stores
  • CI/CD: Jenkins
