Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer for an industry-leading oil and gas technology company based in Rio de Janeiro. This role involves joining a rapidly growing international team to provide high-quality service to leading producers in the industry. Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and commissioning of large industrial generators and auxiliary equipment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with electrical power generating units and related mechanical components. Experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred, with the ability to apply field skills effectively. Key technical knowledge should include HV Generators, Motors, Synchronous condensers, Power Management Systems, Electrical Protection Systems, Excitation Controllers (AVRs), and Synchronizing equipment.
This position requires willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time.
Salary range: 250,000-350,000 Brazilian Real, with additional travel, living, and overtime benefits, along with competitive health and retirement plans.
