We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

In this role, you will focus on designing and implementing backend systems that deliver high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with technical standards and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and associated frameworks
  • Create and optimize SQL queries to handle large datasets while ensuring data accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, QA teams, and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements
  • Conduct code reviews, promote adherence to best practices, and ensure high-quality standards
  • Participate in the design and planning of new system features, enhancing architecture as necessary
  • Work with the architecture team to select appropriate technologies and address complex technical challenges while maintaining code quality
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in applications
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for technical solutions and code
  • Stay informed about advancements in Java development, database management, and emerging technologies

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development, with expertise in J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, and JDBCTemplate
  • Hands-on experience with microservices frameworks like Spring Boot, including WebFlux, RestController, and Swagger
  • Strong understanding of SQL design and optimization for databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and PLSQL
  • Proven ability to build scalable, high-performance applications
  • Experience in managing large datasets and optimizing database queries for performance
  • Proficiency in version control tools like Git and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to debug and resolve complex software issues effectively
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with analysts, QA teams, and developers
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and service-oriented design principles
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have
  • Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Maven
  • Knowledge of tools like SonarQube for code quality and optimization
  • Familiarity with OpenShift for managing containerized applications
  • Experience using performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or similar platforms
