About the Role

We seek a Full Stack Software Developer to resolve technical debt and modernize core platform components. Your focus will be on improving maintainability, performance, and scalability by refactoring legacy code, addressing architectural inefficiencies, and upgrading dependencies.

What You Will Do
  • Identify and address technical debt to improve performance, code quality, and scalability;
  • Upgrade dependencies and ensure compatibility through testing;
  • Refactor legacy code and simplify modules while maintaining functionality;
  • Enhance developer experience with improved CI/CD pipelines and tooling;
  • Participate in architecture improvements;
  • Write clean, efficient, and test-covered code;
  • Ensure development standards are followed;
  • Perform code reviews and ensure quality;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues;
  • Maintain technical documentation;
  • Collaborate to meet project specifications.
Must Haves
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience, especially with existing systems;
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented concepts;
  • Experience with Hibernate and Spring MVC;
  • Team leadership experience;
  • Experience with large monolithic applications and legacy modernization;
  • API and web services development experience;
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap;
  • Understanding of AWS and microservices architecture;
  • Availability for EST working hours;
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle;
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, Git, Maven;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Ability to understand legacy codebases;
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
