Overview

Employer Industry: Financial Services specializing in Cryptocurrency and Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

What to Expect
  • Support research and design of new financial indices across asset classes, focusing on cryptocurrencies, digital assets, tokenization, and DeFi
  • Clean, transform, and analyze large and complex datasets for index construction and evaluation
  • Build robust index methodologies, including back-testing and documentation for internal and external use
  • Develop internal tools and platforms to improve efficiency and enhance analytical capabilities
  • Prepare and present findings, presentations, and research materials for internal and client-facing purposes
What is Required
  • Master's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional background in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, or blockchain technology is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of asset classes, financial theories, and index construction methodologies
  • Advanced programming skills, particularly in Python, for data analysis and index design
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills to address non-routine challenges
