As a Mobile Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for working closely with our Automation Architect and QA engineers to enhance our mobile automation frameworks, design and develop automated test scripts, and ensure the highest quality standards for our mobile applications.

• Collaborate with the Test Automation Architect in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile applications using native automation frameworks such as XCUItest (iOS) and Espresso (Android) and/or open-source solutions like Appium.
• Work to minimize manual testing by identifying high-ROI test cases and automating those scenarios.
• Be an integral part of an Agile Engineering team, working with software engineers, QA engineers and product managers to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases for mobile applications.
• Help ensure functionality delivered in each sprint is well tested, utilizing automation wherever possible.
• Develop smoke, functional, regression, and integration test suites for mobile applications.
• Recommend strategies and methods to continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain well-organized records of test results and generate historical analysis of test results.
• Mentor manual testers while working on automation efforts.
• Leverage automation best practices and coding standards to deliver high-quality products.
• Maintain a solid understanding of black box testing techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for API.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback. Participate in sprint activities, code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• QA Experience: 5-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Open-source Framework: 5-6 years of proven experience in mobile test automation frameworks such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso or equivalent.
• API Automation: 4-5 years of experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• SQL queries: Experience writing basic SQL queries and performing database testing.
• CI/CD and Cloud Technologies: Experience in integrating automation solutions within CI/CD pipelines and utilizing cloud technologies for scalable testing.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Comfortable providing technical support within a QA team.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, specifically Scrum or Kanban.
• Communication and Analytical Skills: Strong communicator with excellent analytical skills, capable of solving complex problems and driving improvements in test automation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the QA team.
