The primary focus of this role is to provide services during the implementation of Sovos products on customer SAP systems, which makes technical SAP knowledge a priority. The Technical Consultant is expected to utilize ABAP development knowledge towards enhancement developments and configuration of Sovos products during implementations. A successful candidate will work as part of the Sovos Professional Services team and implement Sovos products in heterogeneous customer landscapes comprising SAP integrations. The Technical Consultant is also expected to use extensive Sovos product knowledge and SAP expertise in problem solving and troubleshooting during solution implementation, testing and post-go-live stabilization. As a project team member, the Technical Consultant contributes to all project phases including the transition of implementations to Production Support, which requires strong documentation skills for a successful handover.

• Configure Sovos products on customer SAP systems
• Develop custom solutions to adapt products to identified requirements during the project analysis phase
• Apply product knowledge and standard SAP skills in problem solving during implementation
• Perform system integration configuration and troubleshooting during implementations
• Collaborate with customers and Sovos global teams across geographies toward successful product implementations
• Lead technical discussions internally and with customers as needed
• Work on multiple, complex implementation projects concurrently
• Demonstrate strong self-learning capabilities to support Sovos expansion, new country entries, and evolving tax laws
• Enhance knowledge of new/existing/future products and technologies to increase technical proficiency
• Ensure client implementations meet quality and scope expectations
• Maintain high energy, engagement and commitment to action
• Participate in project teams' and product committees' sessions on demand
• Demonstrate self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience on SAP ABAP
• Background working in a software or professional services company; with e-transformation products (Brasil e-transformation) is a plus
• Basic understanding of SAP FI, SD and MM modules
• Good level of English (reading, speaking, and writing)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and task coordination ability
• No restriction for domestic / international travel
• Ability to manage multiple work assignments and projects; on-time and within budget
