We are seeking an experienced Power BI & Snowflake Administrator to manage and maintain both platforms for one of our customers. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, stability, security, and scalability of these environments. This role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, user support, and adherence to industry best practices.

• Administer and maintain Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and related environments.

• Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Power BI components.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize dashboards/reports for efficiency.

• Manage Power BI workspaces, user roles, permissions, and authentication settings.

• Implement and enforce best practices for report development, scheduling, and execution.

• Provide technical support to end users, ensuring seamless report execution.

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI with enterprise systems such as databases, cloud services, and data warehouses.

• Administer and maintain Snowflake data platform, including warehouses, databases, and schemas.

• Perform configuration and upgrades of Snowflake components.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries/workloads.

• Manage user roles, permissions, and authentication settings in Snowflake.

• Implement and enforce best practices for data management, scheduling, and execution.

• Provide technical support and training to end users for query execution.

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Snowflake with enterprise systems, cloud services, and data warehouses.

• Perform regular system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning for both environments.

• Maintain and enhance security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Document configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.

• Respond to customer requests within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Be available after hours/weekends for upgrades and maintenance tasks to avoid business disruption.

• Advanced English skills and Native Spanish

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Power BI and/or Snowflake (experience in both is highly preferred).

• Strong expertise in Power BI Service administration, including installation, upgrades, maintenance, and report optimization.

• Strong expertise in Snowflake administration, including configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and query optimization.

• Proficiency in managing roles, permissions, and access control in both Power BI and Snowflake.

• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.) and data integration.

• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or SQL for automation and optimization.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrating Power BI/Snowflake with cloud-based data sources.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support end-users and work with cross-functional teams.

• Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent).

• Snowflake SnowPro Certification.

• Experience with ITIL-based service management frameworks.

• Familiarity with API integration and connectors for Power BI and Snowflake.

• Experience administering other enterprise analytic tools such as Alteryx or Tableau.
