Role Overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Eqvista, Inc., you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the user-facing aspects of our equity management platform. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces. Your expertise in frontend technologies will be essential in delivering high-quality, engaging user experiences that meet the needs of our clients and enhance our platform's overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for our equity management platform, ensuring a responsive, user-friendly, and visually compelling experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to gather requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into effective frontend solutions.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior frontend developers.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance, including improving load times, responsiveness, and overall application speed.
• User Experience: Continuously enhance the user experience by implementing user feedback, conducting usability testing, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Technology Integration: Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Testing and Debugging: Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for frontend applications. Debug and resolve issues to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend code, components, and processes to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in building sophisticated, user-centric applications.
• Responsive Design: Experience with responsive design principles and techniques to ensure a consistent experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex frontend issues and challenges.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with equity management or financial services applications.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
