As part of the Data team at Flutter Brazil, your mission will be to use your knowledge and skills to solve complex problems, develop impactful data products, and ensure governance, security, and high performance. You will directly contribute to generating value for our stakeholders, working in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment. We are enhancing our data platform, which provides better decisions, from historical to predictive, through various data products.

Responsibilities And Attributions

• Actively participate in discussions about data products and support data-driven decision-making processes, always ensuring the delivery of value.
• Support the architectural choice and evaluation of suitable technologies to solve specific problems.
• Automate and continuously test all possible process steps.
• Validating and adjusting automations according to feedback received from users.
• Contribute to the quality and technological innovation of the product and the work environment.
• Sharing in-depth technical knowledge of Big Data and helping to train users in data solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT scripts and workflows for processing large and small volumes of data (Big Data and Small Data).
• Develop and maintain integrations with partner systems for data ingestion or sharing
• Build and model data products in the raw, harmonized and specialized data layers (SoR, SoT and Spec / Raw, Trusted and Service), using frameworks and concepts such as Data Lake and Data Mesh.
• Ensure the reliability of data ingestion processes, respecting the governance principles defined by the organization.
• Identifying automation tasks and procedural improvements that strengthen data solutions and products.
• Supporting the extraction and availability of data relevant to the business.
• Managing and ensuring the quality of available data.
• Promoting data quality and monitoring in the information environment.
  
  

• Ease of learning new technologies and adapting to change.
• Clear communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Experience with high-volume data platforms.
• Experience with open-source and AWS tools for Big Data & Analytics (e.g., Hive, Spark, Presto/Athena, Hudi, Kafka, Parquet, Avro, Glue Jobs, RedShift, Airflow, Nifi, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, etc.).
• Experience with conceptual, logical and physical modeling of structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of AWS solution architectures (e.g., IAM, EC2, Roles, S3, Security Groups, VPCs).
• Experience with good software engineering practices, CI/CD, design patterns, automated testing and SRE, using tools such as GitHub, Terraform/AWS CodePipeline.
• Advanced data manipulation skills with SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Scala) and Shell Script (Linux/Unix).
• Familiarity with building and modeling data products in the raw, harmonized and specialized layers using Data Lake and Data Mesh concepts.
  
  

• Experience with observability and performance tools (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace).
• Knowledge of containers and container orchestration (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Knowledge of data governance, including GDPR and data privacy.
• Experience with high-volume, high-performance production environments.
• Experience with data products in the financial sector and/or fintechs.
• Experience with Data Literacy projects for large communities.
