Attorney Specialist - Commercial Contracts

Join us to apply for the Attorney Specialist - Commercial Contracts role at Ecolab.

The Ecolab GBS+ Buenos Aires Attorney Specialist - Commercial Contracts position will initially involve reviewing and creating commercial contracts for our North American business. You will assist in executing our commercial contracts and advise internal stakeholders on contract terms and conditions that may impact their business areas, handling various levels of contract complexity. Responsibilities will expand to other business areas over time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate agreements related to commercial transactions.
  • Provide legal advice to company management and business groups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key legal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Global Capability Owners to understand business priorities.
  • Mitigate risks associated with contracts, especially those on customer or internal forms.
Requirements
  • Law degree and license to practice law, with 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting.
  • Extensive experience in commercial law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Proficiency in drafting various contracts in English.
  • Ability to identify and communicate legal risks to support business decision-making.
  • Experience managing and supervising legal teams or paralegals.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities across geographies.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze a standard agreement and provide summaries both written and verbally.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and lead through evolving business needs.
  • Familiarity with multiple Ecolab divisions is preferred.
