As a Sr. Solutions Consultant on our Professional Services team you will work with clients on short- to medium-term customer engagements, solving their big data problems using Apache Spark and the Databricks Platform. You will perform work related to Data Engineering and Data Science, integration of client systems, training, and other technical tasks to help customers get value out of their data with Databricks. You will report to the Manager of Professional Services.

  • Understand, evaluate, and adopt Databricks to support customers' success.
  • Consult on architecture and design, bootstrap, and implement strategic customer projects.
  • Build reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications for customers.
  • Provide support for customer escalations and operational issues.
  • Architect, implement, and validate integrations with third-party applications.
  • Work with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect and Customer team to ensure the technical components of the engagement are delivered to meet customer needs.
  • Work with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback and to improve rapid resolution for engagement-specific product and support issues.
  • You are open to up to 50% travel to customer sites.
What We Look For
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Storm.
  • Fluent in SQL, Python and/or Scala.
  • Expertise in at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
